Key Tasks
- Set up and maintenance of kitting capacity sources in the planning system which is able to fulfill a minimum of two months of workload and inform the warehouse management the capacity need and type of work, so that the kitting operations is properly staffed, instructed and trained.
- Is responsible for the planning, execution and administrative control of kitting/localization at, the European Logistics Center and/or one or more regional warehouses in Europe and Middle East.
- The item set up and maintenance for kit-planning parameters on the warehouses controlled to optimize the stock-rotation and order fulfillment.
- Control the productivity and efficiency of the kitting process and the directly related processes in the supply chain and maintain routing information ifnecessary or employ counter measures in the Third-Party kitting operations.
- Work in close concert with other departments, Transport management, Supply Planning, Product Management, Trade marketing, Demand Planning, CBS-operations, National Sales Organizations, IT and other relevant internal- and external partners improving and optimising the CCI operations performance and execution.
- Supports Projects within Value Added Logistics department and the CCI Warehouse Operations Division by means of:
- Documenting requirements; Reports and analyses; Replaces colleagues in case of absence
Requirements
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor level of education, in logistics or business economics.
- Certified APICS or willing to certify at least three most relevant chapters.
- Approximately 3 year of practical experience in a procurement or planning position in a manufacturing company.
- An experienced user of computer programs and MRP-II systems.
- Able to build and maintain a relational database.
