Job Description
Large, independent, PR agency is looking for a Public Affairs consultant to work within a niche department specialising in property planning and support. This is a tremendous opportunity to carve a long-term career within this highly-relevant but specialist field.
Working with property developers, planning consultants and infrastructure teams, you will be deeply involved in challenging Public Affairs activities, engaging in consultations with local interest groups, lobbying local governments to secure planning consent and developing applications.
Communications projects will cover high-impact and occasionally emotive issues concerning eco-towns, architecture, social change, regeneration and the environment.
Candidates must be politically aware but, first and foremost, be passionate about communications and be able to demonstrate a keen interest in this particular sector.
Applicants will ideally come from a public affairs or corporate background and preferably from a top PR / PA consultancy, whilst applications from communications specialists from within the public sector will also be considered.
