Job Description
PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGER
A market leader in the design,manufacture and distribution of custom made packaging,labels,tickets and buttons for the fashion and apparel related industries that locate in 8 different countries are seeking an experienced Print Production Manager to manage the production unit in
Tunis.
Salary - €35,000 - €45,000
Usual Responsibilities
●Managing the production team
●Production planning, monitoring and altering production schedules when necessary.
●Costing of new work using Costing software.
●Purchasing of paper, inks and other sundries.
●Raising Purchase Orders through the Database.
●Allocating work to, and overseeing the work of departmental staff.
●Quality control of materials and of printed and finished work.
●Overseeing all stages of the print and finish production processes and to ensure that production process runs smoothly, is cost-effective and delivers products to the desired quality and on time.
●Working closely with engineers to overcome production hold ups, such as machine faults, etc.
●Continuously improving efficiency and minimising costs.
●Liaise with Directors and Managers of other departments.
●Oversee the work of other staff.
●Attend regular production meetings with Directors and other Departmental Managers.
●Working with suppliers (in Tunisia and abroad) to agree quality standards, price, delivery times and ethical standards.
●Working with in-house design and sales teams.
Skills and Knowledge
●Experience within print production – A minimum of 3 years. Graphics experience is advantageous.
●a sound knowledge of the production process
●project management skills,
●able to demonstrate good leadership, be diplomatic but firm
●excellent organisational and planning skills
●the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
●a good standard of IT and numeracy skills
●the ability to overcome problems
●good budgetary skills
●strong communication skills
