Description of the department and the purpose of the job/function
The Assistant Service Manager Technical leads the Service BN Technical Support Department in a fast growing and quickly changing Korean multinational company. He or she will be responsible for all Technical Support activities for our Benelux Sales Subsidiary. The Assistant Service Manager Technical will be part of the European Logistics & Service Subsidiary, which is located in Almere. The business operations are very diverse in a range from Service Strategy to analyzing markets and Operational Services. It concerns all product groups.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Coordination of all support questions
- Centralizing of reports of all structural product problems to the factories
- Coordination of the training of engineers of the ASC\'s
- Coordination of the training of own support engineers
- Communication with Product Managers concerning new and current products
- Participating in development of service strategies
- Participating in organizing of commercial fairs
Requirements
Person Profile
- HBO level in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or thinking level or MBO with a lot of experience
- Experience in support/service of consumer products
- Managerial experience
- Experience in people management
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience in an international environment
- Analytical
- Excellent communications skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch, basic knowledge of Korean language is an advantage
- Helicopter view
