Job Description


Our Client is a Leading Development Company based in Dublin City Centre.
Currently we are recruiting for a role of:

Financial Accountant

Qualified/Finalist

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Monthly Management Reports the review by FC
• Preparation of financial statements as part of monthly reporting
• Purchase, Sales and GL analysis
• VAT reconciliations
• Preparation of the accruals & prepayments at the end of month and year end
• Support FC in the queries arising from the Year end Statutory Audit and other audits where necessary
• Help maintain current financial controls and advise on additional where deemed necessary
• Ensuring the inter-company accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
• Bank Reconciliations of various entities
• Maintenance and reconciliation of FA register
• Other Duties and ad hoc reporting as requested by the FC
Necessary Qualifications and Skills:
• ACCA/CIMA / ACA / CPA /CA or other - Qualified/ Finalist
• It is desirable that the candidate would possess experience in a commercial environment
• Candidate must have Excellent English – verbal & written
• Should have experience of preparing accounts to final stage
• Self Starter with good Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Good Commercial Awareness
• Team player - working in co-operation with colleagues and management teams in the provision of information and legal advice
• Willingness to learn is flexible and adaptable and capable of working on own initiative
• Must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills, monitoring progress and removing obstacles to ensure deadlines and commitments are met
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects within the Department
