We are looking for experienced purchase executive with excellent commercial understanding well capable of dealing at high business-to-business level and, preferably, with technical background.
Our client is a well known American chemical company that is going to open a new sales department to develop the European territory. The company is well known in the USA due to their large market share and their leading and outstanding product portfolio, out-performing all their direct competitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience (at least 2-3 years) ideally within Chemical, Technical or IT areas and would have experience managing small teams, although is not essential. Technical education, excellent communication skills both written and spoken, good problem solving skills, strong computer skills, availability to travel with short notice and huge ambition to grow within the company.

Essential to be completely fluent in English and highly appreciate if other languages are spoken.


Responsibilities to include:
-Innovate and lead in terms of cost saving, efficiency building and quality improving initiatives.
-To act as a key point of contact to all operational issues across the production, logistics and sales channels ensuring timely overall co-ordination
-Negotiate Contract terms and conditions, service level agreements and commercial deals with suppliers.
-Liaise regularly with different department within the organization supporting them on required.
-Manage and meet new and existing suppliers.

The basic salary is over 46,000 Euros and strong benefits are negotiated directly with the candidate.
