Job Description
One the largest distribution companies in Europe currently expanding in Ireland is looking for a German purchasing administrator with, at leas, 1 year experience in a similar role.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimum stocks, replenishment of stock lines, goods receipting, expediting outstanding orders, satisfy customer demand and achieve internal stock objectives, all within a fast moving, ever changing, competitive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Third degree education certificate
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
1 years experience in a Purchasing role is essential
Good Hands on knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with Oracle is and advantage but not essential
Fluent German and English
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Friendly and helpful telephone manner
Taking, checking and entering customer orders onto computer
Dealing with customer queries/requests by telephone, fax, email
Liaising with Carriers/Couriers to ensure efficient & timely delivery of product to customers
Assisting with Stock Control procedures
Collecting and matching all relevant documents
Dealing with suppliers
Pacing Purchase Orders
Confirming correct deliveries
Managing reorder levels
