Research Analyst
Salary: £24,000
Location: Oxford
The Research Analyst assists with the execution of marketing research studies by compiling, analysing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in quant research
• Experience with statistics, research techniques, and experimental designs
• Knowledge of SPSS desirable but not essential
• Interest in research
• Degree (min 2:1) ideally in a related discipline
• Public speaking ability
• Experience with another language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Analytical skills
• Customer service skills
• Multi-tasking skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
Main Responsibilities:
• Participates in research proposal and design
• Reviews data for errors and inconsistencies
• Summarizes data for the production of tables, charts, and graphs
• Prepares inputs and runs forecasting models
• Develops preliminary forecast summaries
• Analyses in-market data
• Analyses study results to draft letters, reports, and presentations
• Prepares initial client correspondence
• Attends client meetings and presentations
