Job Description

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Responding to sales requests where product advice has been requested in your specialist area
• Build, maintain and develop knowledge that positions the Category Specialist as the ‘trusted advisor’ in their respective area
• Build EMEA-wide relationships with Insight’s Account Managers and related Product Managers
• Supporting sales enquiries on licensing schemes present in your specialist area
• Set up create client specific / manufacturer part codes to enable sales to transact
• Work close with the product set-up team to meet SLA’s and ensure all opportunities a closed in line with SLA’s
• Negotiate and maintain client specific pricing / special bid pricing from manufacturers or from distribution where required
• Over see the production and workflow of the Nextdesk (PIMM) process to ensure that EMEA SLA`s are met
• Sourcing special order product directly from– this will require liaison with other members of the Product Management team.
• Request and build relations with suppliers facilitate run rate enquiries and for the sourcing of special order product.
• Attend and contribute to Product Management meetings.
• Collate and distribute required information ahead of team meetings
• Maintain the systems data integrity for the product codes within the business
• At all times uphold Insight core values

Qualifications Required:
• Degree or equivalent preferred
• Multi-lingual, at least one second language other than English (French, German, Spanish or Italian)

Experience Required

• Experience of software products (D / E)
• Experience of Insight product management processes (D)
• Experience of dealing with external suppliers (E)
• Operational excellence (E)
• Multi – lingual business experience (E)

Details of any minimum training required:
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft outlook and task manager
• Knowledge of Insight systems including Max and Nextdesk
• Good working knowledge of Excel

Key Performance Indicators & Measurements:
• Percentage of SKUs created within SLA
• Tickets closed within the Next desk SLA
• Percentage of SKUs updated within SLA
• Feedback from Internal customers
