The Role

Bloomberg is seeking an experienced Private Equity Analyst to expand its Private Equity and Venture Capital product offerings. The analyst will be responsible for pioneering the expansion of data coverage and analysis in the global private equity market, building relationships with private equity firms and M&A advisors, establishing Bloomberg as the primary source of data within the marketplace. Along with external contacts the analyst will also work closely with Sales, R&D, and the Business internally to contribute to the future development of the product.

Responsibiities:

- Establish links with Private Equity firms in EMEA in order to obtain information on private equity deals to develop and enhance the data content of the product.
- Establishing a network of contributors
- Taking a proactive role in establishing and developing this new team within global data.

Qualifitactions:

- BA/BS in Finance or equivalent work experience
- MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
- Solid experience in M&A, private equity, and/or venture capital markets
- Demonstrable management/leadership experience
- Established network of private equity professionals and desire to build additional relationships
- Excellent written, communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Effective research and analysis skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Bloomberg Professional Service a plus
- Foreign language skills a plus
