The Role

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong passion for finance to join the Data Acquisition group. You will be responsible for the management and processing of client entitlement requests for a range of different products including research, fixed income, FX and derivatives.

You will work closely with the Bloomberg Sales teams and directly with various broker entitlement administrators and sales people at contributor firms in order to facilitate client research entitlement requests. You will be expected to follow up with all clients in a timely manner to ensure that all client requests are managed efficiently. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be able to take responsibility for a task from start to finish.

Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be actively calling both our clients and research contributors. You will be expected to use your experience dealing with these requests to come up with development ideas to improve and streamline the entire entitlements process from client to contributor.

Responsibilities

- Processing client entitlement requests within a time-sensitive market
- Maintaining and enhancing client relationships
- Dealing with all internal and external queries and issues related to entitlements
- Working with business managers to enhance entitlements process
- Promoting new entitlements functionality to Bloomberg Sales teams
- Proactively approaching contributors to encourage them to entitle a greater number of clients for their products
- Working directly with buy-side clients to increase their number of entitlements on Bloomberg
- Creating and maintaining relationships with contributor administrators
- Working with Bloomberg salespeople on entitlement requests for high profile accounts

- Strong interest and understanding in the financial markets
- The desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication & presentation skills required
- Proven consultative sales and customer relationship skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is required
