Job Title PR & Communications Manager - EMEA
Salary c£35,000 -£45,000/£50,000 (negotiable) + benefits
Based in Berkshire, our client is a world leader in the manufacture of state of the art electronic hardware for the business and entertainment industry.
To manage and direct the company PR strategy in the EMEA region, they wish to recruit a PR & Communications Manager. You aim will be to raise the company profile to both channel distributors and direct business, leisure and entertainment clients.
Your challenging role will include the following duties and responsibilities:
* Regionalisation and distribution of corporate communication
* Developing relationships with media in the EMEA operational region
* As a member of the EMEA sales & marketing team, supporting the EMEA sales and marketing functions as required
* Managing the regionalisation, translation and distribution of corporate press releases and other corporate communication
* Development and maintenance of media lists and media relationships in the EMEA region
* Maintain PR agencies capability in region, through the provision of up to date corporate materials, information and where necessary
* Support company participation of exhibitions, conferences, in-houses events and road shows
* Work with Marketing Manager EMEA to develop communication strategies and support tools through the use of events activity, direct mail, web, print advertising and sponsorship
To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills and background:
* Fluency in either French, Spanish, Italian or Russian, as well as English, both written and spoken
* University educated in a relevant subject; marketing, communication, media studies or law. A degree in engineering or related technical science may also be considered for candidates who have specialised in communications or other creative fields
* Membership and or certification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or Chartered Institute of Marketing are advantageous but not considered essential
* Have a proven track record performing a PR role with a technology company, having had direct contact and negotiation with media and trade press to develop and secure communication opportunities with both domestic and international journals
* Be able to write at both a commercial and technical level regarding technology
* Have good, general IT skills (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Windows)
On offer is an excellent salary (circa £35-£45/£50k but negotiable to the right the candidate) + benefits.
