Japanese Speaking Games Translator

Our Client, a large multilingual is currently seeking to recruit Game Translators who speak Japanese and their most fluent language is either one of these to work in their offices in London:

German
European French
Italian
European Spanish

Job Role

The task is to translate everything necessary for the localisation of computer games, including in-game text, manuals and packaging, etc.

The Candidate

• He/she will need to be able to be precise, pay attention to details, work over a long period of time for one project, and flexible enough to adjust to a sudden change of the initial schedule, unpredictable extra tasks and various restrictions on the text (legal requirements and space limitations, etc.).
• You will need to have at least two years translation experience. Experience in computer game translation will be advantageous but not essential.
• General PC skills, especially in Excel.
• Your most fluent language must be German, French, Italian or Spanish
• Good communication skills in Japanese and English are also essential.
• An ability to work as a team is also important.

Salary: £28000 - £35000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
