A Trainee Mortgage Collection Officer is required to contact customers by telephone whose accounts are in arrears. A Mortgage Collections Officer will establish the reason for the arrears and work with them to agree a suitable course of action.

The successful candidate will handle a high volume of incoming calls, update customer records, maximise payments, issue warrants and update customer records.

The ideal Trainee Mortgage Collection Officer will be looking to start a career in the finance or mortgage industry and have an excellent telephone manner. Previous experience of working in a call centre/ customer service environment is desirable. Experience of handling pressurised phone collections is desirable.
