Customer Service Administrator
Our client is an International company which represents a major force in the field of in the electronics industry
Location: North London
Main Function:
The day-to-day support of a range of products, to include answering of customers and internal queries.
To generation and processing of purchase orders to maintain stock for sale within pre defined limits.
To provide technical and sales support for the allocated range of products.
You must have an electrical background and be able to give technical support to engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Telephone Customer Support
To provide a Third line, telephone support service to our customers and external sales staff.
Demonstrates a courteous and confident telephone manner.
Provides Occasional Sales order processing support as required.
Takes ownership of the call, seeking to deliver the solution personally to the customer without transfer of responsibility to a colleague.
Listens to and records on company CRM system, all information gained while on the call.
Is a team player who actively supports and covers colleagues?
2. Stock Planning and Control
To control the planning and acquisition of products to fulfil stock and Customer requirements.
Accurately requests stock to fulfil future stock requirements against a set of rules of stock availability and turn over.
Acquires stock quickly to fulfil non-stock orders in accordance with the customer requirements.
Manages stock levels during introduction of new products to ensure maximum sales are achieved in the minimum time.
Manages the run down of stock when products are in obsolescence
3. Product Documentation Support
To produce technical documentation to enable effective product support.
Generates technical support documentation in both Paper and electronic forms for use in catalogue and Web site.
Helps with the publication of brochures by providing source material for and proof reading of documents produced.
4. After Sales Support
To provide after sales support to our customers and external sales team
Takes ownership of incoming customer after sales support enquiries, seeking to deliver the solution personally to the customer without transfer of responsibility to a colleague.
Delivers a response to the customer within a time schedule agreed with the customer on initial contact.
Documents and notifies all relevant departments of the actions required to rectify any ongoing product problems.
5. Level 3 Technical Support
To provide Level 3 Technical Support to our customers.
Participates in company training, and increases their product and commercial awareness.
Uses information gained during training to provide technical assistance to the customer.
Seeks assistance from technical personnel where enquiry is outside the scope of present skills, seeking to deliver the solution personally to the customer without transfer of responsibility to a colleague.
Provides concise information to technical team members where another team member is handling the enquiry.
Provides the highest level of support on the allocated range possible, by maintaining close technical links with suppliers as required.
Provide training to internal and external staff on the allocated products to at least Level 2.
Languages not essential, although French or Italian would be an advantage.
Salary: £20k-£25k depending on experience.
