The Role

Bloomberg is looking for a qualified individual to join the Hong Kong office in the Finance & Accounting Department as a team leader for Accounts Payable and Cash Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring that excellent customer service is provided to our suppliers throughout all aspects of invoice and payments processing; assisting with development and implementation of system enhancements; developing and running reports to monitor productivity and efficiencies to ensure proper allocation of resources while maintaining appropriate level of controls; overseeing the management/development of a small team of staff. You will work in a fast paced environment, interacting with audit, tax, purchasing as well as other operational units here in Hong Kong and throughout Asia. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, attention to details, possess excellent customer service skills, communication skills and leadership potentials.

Qualifications

- 5 years accounting experience
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Experience with SAP
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet skill
- International experience and exposure to general ledgers of multiple organizations a plus
- Committed to meet operation targets and deadlines
- Drive goals to meet deadlines
- Experience in managing and developing/coaching employees preferred
- Fluency in English is required while Mandarin skill is an asset
