We are looking for entrepreneurial, commercially-minded individuals from any background or sector, interested in developing a career in conference production for the dynamic world of international real estate. Our client differs from an event agency or commercial event company in that they are a membership organization or “Club”, running events for between 250 and 600 delegates and speakers world-wide in order to facilitate networking and business development. Their members constitute the most senior global community of major players in the global real estate sector - and their current events span the globe from China and India to Europe and the Americas. Currently running 9 events per year, they are looking to expand rapidly into new territories over the coming months.

For this particular role, you will need fluent German alongside a flawless command of English. Your primary responsibilities, besides developing research-based expertise in the real estate sector, will be to discuss conference content with senior players, including investors, developers and lenders, design a credible event programme and secure the participation of up to 200 discussion "facilitators" or "Discussion chairs" per event. You will have total project management responsibility for 2 events per annum, each of which will take a year to develop.
Whether your background is in conferences, events, sales, editorial/journalism or something completely different, if you can demonstrate the tenacity to “get the job done” and the ability to think laterally when problem solving - this could be your most exciting career move yet. Above all, you must be capable of conversing with and gaining the respect of CEOs and other high level individuals in order to galvanize interest and participation in your events. It’s unlikely that you’ll have less than 3-4 years total work experience.

A highly competitive basic salary of 25-35K is available for the right candidate, commensurate with experience and credentials, with the opportunity to earn an extra 5-15K in profit share per annum when reaching cruising speed and depending on the success of your events.
