CARMA International is a media analysis company based in South West London. We are urgently looking for mother tongue speakers of Norwegian, Indonesian and Japanese to read and code media coverage on a self-employed basis working from home.

Salary: £10 per hour gross for a reading rate of 5 to 10 articles, depending on the complexity of the project. The work is part-time and deadline driven. You must have full entitlement to work in the UK and become registered as self-employed as soon as you start the job.

Please only apply if you have a university degree. We are looking for people who are self-disciplined with good analytical skills and superb attention to detail. A keen reader of newspapers, you meet deadlines and don’t mind working under pressure. With an excellent command of the English language you ideally have an interest in general business issues. Based in London, you are computer literate and either own a Pentium 2 PC or a laptop preferably 200Mghz/32MBRAM with Windows XP or older versions of Windows (NOT Vista or Apple Mac) as you need to enter data into a programme provided by us. You also must have broadband access to the internet at home and skype is desirable.

Before you can get started, you will be expected to undergo training to learn our research methodology.
