Professional Support Lawyer

Client
This top 5 firm is seeking a Know How Professional Support Lawyer within the Legal Education and Resources team, dealing with queries and research from across all practice areas and acting as principal Know How coordinator within the firm. Identify and undertake some specialisation and provide additional expertise in research and information in these areas. This role will offer a wide range of specialist work .

Accountabilities:
•
Relevant experience, preferably gained in a large or medium-sized firm, and a serious interest in developing a specialist career in this area. Reviewing and negotiating legal contracts with external counterparties.
•
Providing regular updates to practitioners and trainees on Irish case law through a weekly case alert service.
•
High end query work - from practitioners and trainees including provision of answers and materials in a timely fashion, identifying and using relevant research sources and supporting them in all aspects of legal research
•
Maintaining details of research carried out and responses delivered.



Requirements:
•
Barrister or qualified solicitor
•
Ability to quickly learn and assimilate the requirements for know how and legal research
•
Ability to conduct research and produce accurate results without specific supervision
•
Good presentation and delivery skills
•
Strong analytical, commercial and interpersonal skills to work effectively with directors, senior managers and legal advisers
