Purchasing Assistant with German

Role
Purchasing Assistant with German
The purchasing department is split into two areas; food and non-food and consists of a number of buying managers, support supervisors and a number of support assistants. The Purchasing Assistant with excellent German and English will work closely with those buyers and provide full administrative support to the purchasing department as well as full backup support for other team members. The purchasing team is energetic and committed. Other duties of the Purchasing Assistant with excellent German and English will involve maintaining good relations with suppliers, translating German documents, working on spreadsheets and to strict deadlines
Profile
.Excellent English and German Language skills both written and oral
.Experience in a purchasing/buying environment would be of advantage
.Excellent administration, organisation and time management skills
.Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of packages
.A keen eye for detail with a confident, assertive and motivated approach with a positive can do\' attitude
.Ability to work accurately whilst under pressure and to strict deadlines
.Ability to work efficiently on your own initiative and as part of a team
