JOB TITLE
Japanese Speaker Strategy planner/Logistic
SALARY
Up to £25,000 per year
LOCATION
Basingstoke

This company is the global market leader in home entertainment and electronics, employing well over 6,000 staff globally, and constantly expanding and innovative in its approach. You will be based in the company itself (NOT in a call centre) where the technical staff work in 12 European languages and on the most cutting edge new technology.
Duties:
Manage the planning & procurement with Customer Services
Manage the supply and inventory with a combined customer services function
Manage Demand Chain relationship with suppliers
Ongoing weekly review meetings and correspondence (conference call/meeting if required) with factories, supplier HQ\'s to discuss and explain the demand requirements of customer and supply support issues.
Manage potentially conflicting agendas of suppliers with the demand requirements of customer so as to ensure demand requirements of customer are met, and supplier relationship is maintained.
Ensure no Line-Stop or shortage for customer
Assist in the management of accurate purchase price and stock valuation through MAP control
Skills required
Min 2+ years planning & procurement experience ideally in IT/Electronics industry
Customer Service/Interfacing experience. Confident to direct handle customer queries.
IT literate – SAP experience a plus if not essential at basic level.
Team Player
Able to work well on own initiative
Must be commercially aware
Excellent communicator
