Prestigious organization based in Buckinghamshire have a vacancy for a German speaking Applications Engineer. Main responsibilities of the role will be to work closely with engineering staff to ensure correct fitting of engines to OEM product, providing technical service support in the broadest sense to engine and power products distributors and OEMs and co-ordinating technical issues in after-sales support. Reporting directly to the Deputy Senior Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day activities surrounding the support of technical activities. The successful candidate will be a trained mechanic with a number of years experience in the small engine industry, you should have knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine technology and of the petrol engine market. You will also have good IT skills covering MS Office – specifically Word and Excel. Although an office job, the role will include frequent travel and out of office activities such as exhibition attendance and test days. This is a new role offering scope of personal development.
Benefits:
Salary is dependant upon experience, paid monthly in arrears by BACS, to £40,000.
